WWE TLC 2016: AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose Set

Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles will be headlining the WWE TLC pay-per-view for SmackDown’s top title.

AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose have feuded since WWE SummerSlam concluded. This has since resulted in multiple matches between the two, mostly for the WWE World Championship or in No. 1 Contender’s matches.

Styles first beat Ambrose for the title at September’s Backlash pay-per-view. This then turned into John Cena getting involved, which led to a Triple Threat at No Mercy. The Phenomenal One would win to continue his run.

However, Ambrose and Styles continued to feud afterward. They have gone back and forth for a month with singles matches and No. 1 Contender bouts, the second of which took place on Tuesday night. The Lunatic Fringe would win and get his latest opportunity at the world title.

After SmackDown, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon would announce when Ambrose vs. Styles for the belt will go down. On Sunday, December 4, these two will go to battle at the WWE TLC PPV in a TLC match.

Tables, ladders, and chairs should end this long feud between these two top SmackDown stars. By December 4, their program would have lasted for about three months, which is longer than your typical WWE feud. However, Styles vs. Ambrose has been one of the key parts of Tuesday nights as the main event program. They have provided dramatics, good matches, and intriguing segments throughout. With one month to go, there should be more of this.

The added layer will be Ambrose and Styles having to work together at Survivor Series. They are both on the men’s team for the elimination match, which is Team SmackDown vs. Team Raw. Can they work together for one night?

So, are you looking forward to Ambrose vs. Styles at WWE TLC?
