WWE Rumors: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte to Take Place in Hell in a Cell?

Sasha Banks and Charlotte may be receiving the first-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match.

On the October 3 episode of WWE Raw, Sasha Banks won her one on one rematch with Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Championship. This stemmed from the previous title change, which took place at SummerSlam and saw The Nature Girl win the belt.

Given that Banks won the title, another rematch will likely be in store, one that may end this long feud. With the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view approaching on Sunday, October 30, this would seem to be the opportune place for this to happen.

However, there may be bigger stakes to this matchup. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Banks and Charlotte will compete at Hell in a Cell, but in a Hell in a Cell match. This would be the first women’s match to take place inside this storied structure.

A women’s Hell in a Cell match would be a tremendous way of moving the Women’s Revolution forward. It would build more credibility by putting them into a match that only the men have starred in since the 1990’s. Given what Sasha and Charlotte have done in not only this feud, but for the division itself, they would be deserving of this opportunity.

Hell in a Cell matches are ones that have seen classic moments take place. Who can forget Mick Foley’s adventure at King of the Ring 1998? How about the original one between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in 1997? Banks and Charlotte would have their chance to add to the legacy of this match, and transition the women’s division in WWE to the next level.

If this contest gets added, it would join Roman Reigns vs. Rusev, which will be inside Hell in a Cell as well. Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins could be the third of these added too, whenever the bout gets announced.
