3 reasons Alexa Bliss should defeat Becky Lynch at WWE No Mercy 2016.

Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch at WWE No Mercy 2016 is the moment that this “Spiteful” WWE Superstar has been waiting for. Coming from a background of championship cheerleading and bodybuilding Bliss has proven to be a fast learning, title bound opponent. She signed her developmental deal for NXT a couple of months behind her current nemesis Becky Lynch. Thus falling a step behind Lynch in her advancement to the main roster.

Since being drafted to SmackDown, Bliss has been rerouted on a fast-paced journey through WWE. She has even defeated Lynch back in August, thanks to a little help from Eva Marie. However, she has yet to claim a championship title in wrestling.

While Lynch went on to win the first ever SmackDown Women’s Championship, the “Harley Quinn of WWE” has become a worthy contender. Bliss beat the odds in the recent 5-way match against Carmella, Naomi, Natalya, and Nikki Bella. This led her to be the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at No Mercy 2016.

Bliss has quickly become a conniving, undeniable threat that Lynch cannot seem to rid herself of. She has called Becky Lynch out on Talking Smack, explaining just how easy defeating her and taking the title will be. Lynch was later attacked by Bliss with a table at their contract signing for WWE No Mercy 2016. This cheerleader is showing her opponent, Becky Lynch just how “spiteful” she can be.

Here are 3 Reasons Alexa Bliss Should Defeat Becky Lynch at WWE No Mercy 2016…

3. “Born to be Champion”

Alexa Bliss told Becky Lynch that “she was not born to be champion” on SmackDown during their contract signing. Bliss said this as a way to let everyone know, including Lynch, that she was born to be champion. Just look at her track record! It’s true that she has never held any championship in wrestling, but she has succeeded in everything else so it’s only a matter of time.

It almost looks as though Bliss has been preparing from this moment from birth. WWE calls her a “fierce competitor”. She spent her youth playing softball, running track, and performing gymnastics. Bliss went on from there to compete in cheerleading and kickboxing. Her buildup for WWE No Mercy 2016 did not begin in NXT or in her matches with Lynch from August. Bliss’s buildup for her moment to defeat Becky Lynch began as a child.

To top it all off, Bliss was also an accomplished professional bodybuilder. Which Bliss claims helped her gain her recent cover for Muscle & Fitness Hers. “I never got to while I was I’m competing, but it happened now that I’m in WWE. It reflects all the hard work that I’ve done in bodybuilding and am so thankful for the opportunity.” Bliss told USA Today’s For The Win in a recent interview.

See, it’s almost as if Alexa Bliss’s defeat of Becky Lynch has already been set in stone. Being “born to be a champion” should make it so, right? Her insinuations, not mine…

2. Endless Possibilities

Alexa Bliss should defeat Becky Lynch so that Lynch and WWE Universe can get their rematch. As Alexa Bliss mentioned on Talking Smack, this isn’t the first time she has gone against Becky Lynch. The few times that they have gone against each other turned out to be very entertaining matches.

Both women come from very athletic backgrounds. In some cases similar, as with kickboxing and bodybuilding and some unique, like with Bliss and gymnastics or Lynch being a stuntwoman. The talent between both is undeniable and pitting them against each other, plays a part in allowing them show it.

Aside from this, if Bliss were able to move quickly through the rematch, the possibilities of a new feud are endless as most of the SmackDown women can work as faces. Naomi and Natalya would both be great for Alexa Bliss to feud with as a heel. Nikki Bella and Carmella could go either way. Whereas Lynch, would most likely have to turn heel at some point in order to get a good feud going. Lynch as a heel does not seem like a good fit.

The feud between Bliss and Lynch has been rather short, so it still has great potential. The underlying problem with Lynch winning is that certain suspension’s are coming to an end. If SmackDown picks up where they left off, then there is the possibility that Eva Marie might eventually be Lynch’s rival.

That is, if Eva Marie actually makes it past her entrance…

1. Bad Girls Make Better Champions

Becky Lynch may be a fan favorite, but can she be bad? Alexa Bliss should defeat Becky Lynch at WWE No Mercy 2016 because she has proven that she can be a great villain. This may sound harsh, but the history with most WWE Women’s

Champions has been that bad girls make better champions. Why? I’m not sure, but lets look at Raw. Charlotte and Sasha, one is a heel, the other a face, but they both have bad girl persona’s and bad girl potential.

Before the Brand split, there was Nikki Bella, one hit Paige, and AJ Lee. All bad girl images. Two of which, were the longest reigning Diva’s Champions of all time.

They all had great bad girl potential and they used it as the Diva’s Champion. Past women champions have shown that it is a necessity to turn your back to those who want what you have, and in SmackDown that happens to be the SmackDown Women’s Championship!

You have yet to see just what it is that Becky Lynch can bring to the table. What you do know, is that it most likely will not be the type of image that turns to bite the hand that feeds. The other women want what Becky Lynch has, but do you see her conniving her way into keeping it? Alexa Bliss, the “Harley Quinn of WWE, on the other hand, can be extremely “spiteful”. Which makes things interesting and fun…

It takes personality, diversity, athleticism, and spite to be “born to be champion”. Becky Lynch may have most of these qualities, but is she missing the most important one?

Why do you think Alexa Bliss should defeat Becky Lynch at WWE No Mercy 2016?
