WWE Backlash Kickoff Show 2016 live stream: Watch online

A look at how to watch the WWE Backlash Kickoff Show on Sunday night.

The WWE Backlash pay-per-view will be the first SmackDown Brand Extension live special to take place. This may be the first test for the rosters being split, including how the main event goes, and the new championships being handed out.

Like all WWE PPVs, there will be a Kickoff Show taking place at 7:00 PM ET, before Backlash begins. However, there haven’t been any announced matches for the one-hour show. That doesn’t mean WWE won’t include an impromptu one, though. It would split up the panel talking for the first hour, and give fans some action to watch before it goes live on the WWE Network.

Besides the Kickoff Show, the main card for Backlash has six matches scheduled.

Dean Ambrose will defend the WWE World Championship against AJ Styles. This will be the first time these two have wrestled each other in WWE. Styles is looking for his first WWE title on Sunday, but will have to get by a fan-favorite in The Lunatic Fringe. What will the outcome of this match be?

The finals of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament will conclude, too. Rhyno and Heath Slater already have their spot set for the last match. However, their opponents haven’t been determined. The Usos and Hype Bros will compete for this opportunity. American Alpha had been the planned challengers to Rhyno and Slater, but an injury to Chad Gable took them out of this. So, which team will move onto the finals at Backlash?

Now, a look at how to watch the Backlash Kickoff Show on Sunday.
