Sasha Banks Wants to Be in the WWE Royal Rumble Match (Video)

Sasha Banks is already in the first Women’s Hell in a Cell match, so why not put her in the Royal Rumble?

Sasha Banks and Charlotte are set to be in the first Women’s Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. This will take place on Sunday, October 30.

Bayley, Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch have revolutionized the WWE women’s division to the point where typical men’s matches can be used for the other gender. They already got a prime spot at WrestleMania 32, and are being featured in WWE’s most dangerous match.

However, what would be one way to up the ante?

WWE recently had their top stars do Royal Rumble 2017 PPV promos. The show is returning to the Alamodome for the first time in 20 years, so a big deal is being made of it. How do you make it bigger, though? According to Sasha Banks, that’s by putting her into the match.

“Let’s talk about the Royal Rumble bay-bee! This has to be, what, one of the biggest Royal Rumbles yet? Can I be in the Royal Rumble? You never know, I mean, I’m in the Hell in a Cell? I might get myself in this Royal Rumble, bay-bee! … Again, it’s around my birthday time so please buy your tickets. Come see me. … Get your tickets, it’s going to be an amazing, amazing show, the best Royal Rumble yet because I’m going to be in it … maybe.”

Banks in the Royal Rumble match? Well, given everything else that has happened this year, you never know. Unfortunately for her, WWE does not allow intergender wrestling, so the chances of this happening are slim to none. It would be intriguing to see women get placed into the Royal Rumble, though. This could create one of the more revolutionary moments in wrestling and open up opportunities. What that would necessarily be would be interesting.
