One thing WWE could do to make Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar even better

WCW icon Goldberg received an overwhelming response from fans when he made his first appearance inside a WWE ring in more than a decade last month, and on Sunday he'll enter the ring for what will likely be the main event of Survivor Series for a rematch with Brock Lesnar - the man he beat at WrestleMania XX.

So far, WWE has done just about everything right surrounding Goldberg's return, even if it is slightly ridiculous to think that the match is occurring because of a video game. He's even coming out to the ring using his old WCW music, which was objectively better than the WWE remix.

It's clear WWE is doing everything it can to make Survivor Series feel like a premier event, stacking the card with three traditional elimination matches and bringing back The Undertaker and Edge in the go-home show on Tuesday. One relatively minor change to Sunday's presentation could make Goldberg vs. Lesnar even more epic.

When wrestling fans above the age of 25 or so think of Goldberg, they're likely picturing the undefeated monster who tore through the entire WCW roster multiple times over (rather than the guy who left WWE after a year). Goldberg in his prime was one of the most intimidating wrestlers in the history of the business, and his incredible entrance - which saw him smash his dressing room door and walk to the ring flanked by police officers, stopping only to showered by sparks at the top of the ramp - played a huge part in his persona.

For big pay-per-view matches, and even some weekly TV episodes, Goldberg's name was announced by the legendary voice of Michael Buffer, which made every bout feel like a must-watch boxing prizefight. Even now, when Michael Buffer turns up at a boxing match, you know what is about to occur is a special event.

This isn't meant as a criticism of JoJo, who has been great since taking over for Lilian Garcia full-time. But just listen to Buffer introducing Diamond Dallas Page and Goldberg at Halloween Havoc 1998 and tell me you aren't pumped to see that match, 18 years later. Is Buffer worth the money it would cost WWE? That's another question.

Buffer did return to the wrestling ring in 2008 for Royal Rumble, and was even superkicked by Shawn Michaels in a commercial for the show.
