Seattle took quite the 1-2 punch on Sunday and Monday.

First, Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch dropped a tweet with hanging cleats, letting everyone know informally that he was retiring from the NFL.

The news was made official on Monday, hours before ... 

Daniel Bryan, a native of Aberdeen, Washington, and beloved WWE Superstar went before a crowd on Monday Night Raw to announce his retirement fromt he ring due to medical issues caused by concussions.

While jarring, the news wasn't quite as unsettling as what happened on a Sunday a year ago in February.
