No. 9 Kentucky 91, Murray St. 59

Sophomore guard A'dia Mathies had 26 points and a career-high 10 rebounds to lead No. 9 Kentucky to a 91-59 victory over Murray State on Friday night in the opening round of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic.

Junior guard Carly Morrow scored 10 of her 11 points in the first half as the Wildcats roared to a 41-21 halftime lead. They led by as many as 32 points in the second half.

The Wildcats (4-0) will meet host Southern Miss (3-1) in Saturday's championship game.

Kentucky senior All-America forward Victoria Dunlap played only 10 minutes, leaving the game as a precaution after taking a charge and hitting the back of her head on the floor with 6:27 left in the first half. She finished with four points and seven rebounds.

Kentucky jumped to a 16-0 lead as the Racers missed their first 10 shots and committed four turnovers in their first 12 possessions.
