Auburn women's basketball team stuck in DC

The Auburn women's basketball team has become stuck in Washington because of a late fall snowstorm.

The team's media representative, Matt Crouch, says they are on an eight-day trip to Washington, Indianapolis and Chicago. They thought they were leaving Washington Thursday afternoon for Indianapolis.

Their first flight was canceled, and they waited six hours for another flight to Atlanta. Everyone boarded the plane, and then that flight was canceled, says 18-year-old Peyton Davis.

The group of 30 people, including the 13-member team, will stay in Washington Thursday night. Their next game against Purdue isn't until Saturday.
