Adrian Wiggins new coach at Ole Miss

Adrian Wiggins is the new women's basketball coach at Mississippi.

The school announced the hiring on Monday night. He will be official introduced at a press conference Wednesday.

Wiggins has guided Fresno State to five straight NCAA tournament appearances. The Bulldogs won a school record 28 games this season before losing to Georgetown in the opening round of the tournament.

He has a career record of 175-66 after taking over for the final 11 games of the 2004-05 season. Wiggins was an assistant at Frenso State from 2002-05.

Wiggins replaces Renee Ladner, who announced in early March that she was stepping down as head coach.

Mississippi was 12-18 this season.
