No. 19 Arizona State women roll past La Tech 80-44

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Kianna Ibis led a balanced attack with 13 points and 13 players scored for No. 19 Arizona State in an 80-44 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday.

Courtney Ekmark added 12 points with five assists and Char Johnson-Chapman scored 10 with nine rebounds for the Sun Devils (4-2).

Keiunna Walker had 12 points and Kierra Anthony 11 for the Bulldogs (4-3), who went 1 of 9 from 3-point range and shot just 33 percent overall. They were also outrebounded by 18.

With Ekmark making four 3-pointers, all in the first half, Arizona State was 8 of 15 from distance, shot 53 percent overall with 19 assists on 20 baskets for 49-19 lead at halftime.

La Tech scored the first basket of the game, but the Sun Devils responded with seven straight points and turned that into a 17-2 run that stretched to 26-4. The lead was 29-11 after one quarter.
