Jay Parry leaving as WNBA chief operating officer
NEW YORK (AP) Jay Parry will step down as WNBA chief operating officer on April 30 and be replaced by Ann Rodriguez.
The WNBA said Tuesday that Parry will remain as senior adviser to WNBA President Lisa Borders.
Parry led the business and strategy efforts since joining the league in May 2016. Rodriguez has been the senior vice president of league operations since last August.
The 22nd WNBA season begins May 18.
