Eddie Wineland gets his big chance to prove to the world that he is the number one bantamweight in the world at UFC 165 against Renan Barao.

Undeterred by the fact that he's being overlooked by many, Wineland spoke with Ariel Helwani after the UFC 165 weigh in's and reiterated his confidence in his ability to knock Barao out.

'I'm gonna win anyway I want...I'm gonna knock him out.'

Wineland is so confident that he'll be coming out on top at UFC 165 that he's already talking about Wineland vs. Cruz!

'When I beat this guy and Barao vs. Cruz is no longer, well know you gotta look at Wineland vs. Cruz, and that's what I'm lookin' at'.

UFC 165 goes down Saturday on PPV with Prelims airing on FOX Sports 1 beginning at 5pm PT.
