UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt weigh-in results
Fighting as a middleweight for the first time in over three years, Nate Marquardt hit the required mark on the scale, making his UFC Fight Night headliner with James Te Huna official.
Marquardt checked in at 186, the same number Te Huna nailed as he moves down from light-heavyweight for the first time.
The bout takes place in Auckland, New Zealand Saturday night local time (2:30 am ET) and airs on UFC Fight Pass.
Both fighters are in desperate need of a win. For the first time in his 15-year career, Marquardt has struggled through a losing streak, dropping three straight. Te Huna, meanwhile, has lost two in a row.
Heavyweights Soa Palelei and Jared Rosholt provide support for the main event. Palelei, who has won three straight and all by KO since returning into the fold, hit 264 on the scale, five pounds heavier than Rosholt.
All 20 fighters on the card hit the required numbers, making the entire UFC Fight Night a go.
