UFC 171: Hendricks vs. Lawler Viewing and Schedule Guide
For the first time in nearly seven years, the UFC will crown a new welterweight champion at UFC 171 when Johny Hendricks takes on Robbie Lawler in the main event following Georges St-Pierre's exit from the sport just a few short months ago.
Hendricks and Lawler are both gunning for the top spot in the division and given that both fighters are knockout artists, this should be a title fight for the ages.
In addition to the main event, former interim champion Carlos Condit will hope to secure the next shot at the belt when he takes on Strikeforce transfer Tyron Woodley in another pivotal welterweight showdown while Jake Shields hopes to cement his standing in the division as well when he faces Hector Lombard.
It's a week full of coverage coming your way from Dallas, TX ahead of the sold out show on Saturday night taking place at the American Airlines Arena.
