Seth Rollins mocks Conor McGregor after recent comments about WWE

If Conor McGregor wants to challenge the big boys in the WWE, he might want to add a few inches and pack on a few pounds.

That's the message he received from WWE superstar Seth Rollins on Friday when he was asked about McGregor's recent comments where he said he would 'slap the head off' the entire professional wrestling roster.

Rollins mocked McGregor's size — albeit with slightly incorrect facts — while offering an open invitation to the Irishman to come find out tough WWE wrestlers really are.

"It sounds to me like Conor's trying to take a page out of our game and trying to sell a couple extra pay-per-views before Saturday," Rollins told ESPN. "It's just Conor being Conor. He's just doing his thing.

McGregor's words ruffled the feathers of quite a few WWE superstars when he made the initial comment about the promotion, but he also proved the kind of drawing power he has by just tossing out an open challenge like that over Twitter.

In many ways, McGregor's tirade sounded like a promo cut by a professional wrestler so some have wondered if he's not plotting for a future career in WWE with his recent rant.

Rollins says McGregor would be welcome in the ring and would make a great addition to the WWE roster — as long as he's staying at a lower division because he doesn't want go with the heavyweights.

"I think he'd make a fantastic cruiserweight. We've got a new cruiserweight division coming to RAW where the guys have to be 205 pounds or less so he could fit right into there," Rollins said.

"If he wants to come into the ring with the heavyweights, he might have to eat a few more pizzas and drink a few more gallons of milk."
