Ronda Rousey becomes first woman to land Men's Fitness cover in Australia
Add another accolade to Ronda Rousey's incredible 2015 as the UFC women's bantamweight champion has landed the cover of Men's Fitness in Australia.
Why is that significant?
Because Rousey is now the first woman in history to grace the cover of the men's magazine in Australia.
Rousey is preparing for her upcoming fight against Holly Holm, which takes place in Australia on Nov. 14 at UFC 193.
The show is expected to break the all-time attendance record for the UFC with more than 56,000 fans needed to shatter the previous mark held at UFC 129 in Toronto when Georges St-Pierre faced Jake Shields in the Rogers Centre.
According to UFC president Dana White, there are more than 40,000 tickets already sold for the upcoming event with six weeks still to go until fight time.
Rousey's latest media tour in Australia only increased her visibility there and this new magazine cover that's set for release this Thursday should only prove to multiply her popularity.
