Jose Aldo admits he cried while watching movie about his life

Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo's tough upbringing in Brazil is well documented.

Aldo grew up in one of the country's worst favelas, and with dreams of becoming a professional mixed martial artist, the Manaus native cleaned the gym floors and bathrooms to earn his keep and pay for training. He eventually fought his way to the top of the featherweight food chain and is widely considered one of, if not the best, 145-pound fighters of all-time.

The story is so inspirational that filmmakers decided that it was worthy of the big screen. And after months of buildup, the movie, "Stronger than the World," was finally released in Brazil this week to rave reviews — including from Aldo himself.

In fact, Aldo enjoyed the movie so much that he dropped a few tears while watching.

The film, which also chronicles Aldo's sometimes tumultuous relationship with his father and the impact his coach, Andre Pederneiras, and his wife have had on his life, reportedly ends with Aldo winning the UFC featherweight championship and not his 13-second loss to Conor McGregor, causing critics to question the legitimacy of the film. But according to Aldo, there are plenty of opportunities to include McGregor in the sequel.
