Jones: No one 'deserves to be a champion more than Holly Holm'

Former UFC light heavyweight king Jon Jones knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a champion in the biggest fight promotion in the world. Jones believes no one deserves that accolade more than Holly Holm.

Following his Jackson-Winkeljohn teammate Holm's upset of Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 on Saturday, Jones took to Facebook to congratulate her and express his joy over her historic win.

With Holm now sitting on the women's bantamweight throne, Donald Cerrone challenging for the lightweight belt in December, Carlos Condit fighting for the welterweight strap in January and Jones' impending return, 2016 could be the year of Jackson-Winkeljohn.
