Daniel Cormier will headline UFC 200 under one condition

With Conor McGregor officially out of UFC 200 in July, the promotion has expressed interest in making the rematch between current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and heated rival Jon Jones the main event for the monumental card.

The idea is something that both Jones and Cormier are both down for, with Jones saying after his win over Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 197 that he feels "great enough" to headline the card.

But Cormier has one stipulation -- the press tour has to go through New Orleans.

Cormier hails from Lafayette, LA, the same city as lightweight fighter Dustin Poirier, which is only two hours from New Orleans.

Considering any media tours for UFC 200 would likely go through New York, Jones' hometown, Cormier feels it's only right to make a stop in Louisiana.

Cormier was originally scheduled to fight Ryan Bader in a UFC event in New Orleans last year, but instead was tapped to fill in for Jones against 'Rumble' Johnson at UFC 187.
