Conor McGregor featured in new 'Call of Duty' game opposite Kit Harington

After a five round war with Nate Diaz at UFC 202, Conor McGregor is now set to go one-on-one with "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington.

Well sort of.

McGregor has been cast to play a character in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" where he will star alongside Harington, who will play the lead villain for the long running combat game series.

McGregor has already filmed scenes for the video game franchise as he looks to expand his brand into yet another new avenue outside of fighting. There are no details yet on what kind of character McGregor will play in the billion dollar "Call of Duty" franchise.

The long running "Call of Duty' series has cast several celebrities in the past to play roles in the game including Kevin Spacey and Chris Meloni.

Now McGregor joins that list as a character in the upcoming series while Harington has already been confirmed to play the leader of an evil organization known as the SDF (Settlement Defense Front).

McGregor has long teased a career outside the Octagon including an acting role he eventually turned down in the Vin Diesel feature "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage".

Now it appears McGregor is ready to crossover into the video game world as a star of the new "Call of Duty" game due out on November 4 across all gaming platforms.
