Conor McGregor blasts UFC in crass Instagram post, calls for Nate Diaz rematch

Conor McGregor threw some more heat on his ongoing feud with the UFC in a NSFW Instagram post Sunday morning.

The featherweight champion re-posted a video featuring highlights from his first bout against Nate Diaz while sending a message to the entire UFC and its fans.

In case you've been living under a rock, McGregor and the UFC have been going back-and-forth for almost two weeks. It began with McGregor retiring and no-showing a UFC commercial shoot, claiming that media obligations were interfering with training despite the shoot and press tour being three months before his rematch with Diaz.

The UFC and Dana White gave McGregor, who unretired the next day, another chance to contact them and make things right, but according to White, they haven't spoken to the Irishman since he confirmed he wasn't attending the three-city promotional tour for one of the biggest cards in UFC history.

Things got weird a couple days later when a week after the UFC announced that they'd indeed pulled McGregor from the card, "Notorious" told fans in a tweet that he was back on the card and thanked UFC head honchos White and Lorenzo Fertitta.

Some fans rejoiced while others remained skeptical, but the UFC cleared things up later that day, as Dana White said he had no idea why McGregor would tweet that. Shortly thereafter, the promotion announced Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones 2 would man the UFC 200 main event, a rematch that carries its own unique rivalry.

The UFC has held firm despite McGregor's recent antics, but we'll see if his latest callout changes anything.
