Chris Camozzi replaces Yoel Romero, faces 'Jacare' Souza in New Jersey

Following an injury to Yoel Romero, the UFC announced on Saturday that Chris Camozzi will return to the Octagon to face Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza at next weekend's FOX UFC Fight Night card in New Jersey.

Romero was pulled from the fight card after suffering a knee injury last week in training. And while there was some hope he would still be able to compete, ultimately the former Olympic silver medalist was forced to withdraw from the card.

Camozzi returns to the UFC on a two-fight win streak after being released from the promotion following four losses in a row inside the Octagon.

The 28-year-old Camozzi has won his last two fights in less than one-round a piece with a rear naked choke victory over Jeremy Kimball before putting away Wes Swofford by TKO.

This fight will also be a chance at redemption for Camozzi, who actually faced Jacare in his UFC debut back in 2013.

On that night, Souza wrapped up an arm triangle choke early and put Camozzi away by submission in the first round.

We'll see how this bought will end when the two middleweights face off again in New Jersey as part of the FOX UFC Fight Night card on April 18.
