Serena should get a trophy just to honor this great photobomb
Victoria Azarenka on Sunday roughed up Serena Williams in the championship match of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, the second time this year the world No. 1 has lost an important final after also falling to Angelique Kerber at the Australian Open.
Being that close to two huge trophies only to come up short would be a tough pill for any player to swallow, but Serena appears to be taking it in good spirits. As she left the court Sunday, the 21-time Grand Slam champion stopped for a good-natured photobomb of Azarenka's trophy shot:

Did Azarenka have a problem with Serena intruding on her moment? Nah:

Serena handled the Australian Open defeat similarly well, walking across the court after match point to give Kerber a hug.
It was a bright spot for the tournament's end after some poor comments earlier in the day from Raymond Moore, the tournament director at Indian Wells, saying that women's players "ride on the coattails of the men."
