Robredo to face Anderson at Hassan II

Tommy Robredo of Spain will aim for his 11th career title against second-seeded Kevin Anderson in the Grand Prix Hassan II final after they both came from a set down to win their semifinals on Saturday.

Robredo beat top-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 to reach his first final since winning on outdoor clay in Santiago, Chile, two years ago.

Anderson followed up with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win against third-seeded Martin Klizan of Slovakia and will aim for his third career title - and first on clay - in Sunday's decider.

They have never played each other before, which was not the case for Robredo and Wawrinka.

In their first meeting since 2008, Robredo improved to 5-1 overall against Wawrinka, having won all three of their matches on clay.

Wawrinka broke Robredo's serve twice and did not face a single break point in the first set. But Robredo broke Wawrinka twice in the second to open up a 5-3 lead and closed out the set on serve after saving a break point.

They swapped breaks at the start of the third set, before Robredo won the next four games to take a commanding lead.

Wawrinka, the 2010 champion, finally held serve, but Robredo sealed victory on serve in the next game.

Anderson had to battle hard after losing the first set, saving five break points in the second. He opened up a 4-0 lead in the third set, before closing out the match on serve.

Anderson's two career titles have come on outdoor hard-courts - his previous title was last year at Delray Beach, Florida.
