Zeman signs 2-year deal to coach Roma
Roma has confirmed Zdenek Zeman will return to the club as coach for the next two seasons.
Zeman, who guided Pescara to the Serie B title last season, was among Roma's top choices to replace Luis Enrique, who quit at the end of last season. He signed a two-year contract Monday.
Zeman spent two seasons at the helm of Roma before being replaced by Fabio Capello in 1999.
He steered Pescara back to the top flight after a 19-year absence. A last-minute winner secured the title for Pescara on the last day of the season, on goal difference, after it finished level on points and head-to-head record with Torino.
Zeman's young, attacking team scored 90 goals - 30 more than any other Serie B team.
