World Cup 2022 highlights: South Korea tops Portugal; both advance

The group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup comes a close Friday after a week and a half of incredible action. Kicking things off in Group H, South Korea (1-1-1) handed Portugal (2-0-1) its first loss of the tournament at Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar thanks to a jaw-dropping stoppage-time goal — and we had you covered with all the action on FOX!

Meanwhile, on FS1, Uruguay (1-1-1) took down Ghana (1-0-2) in the other Group H match. 

Portugal wins Group H for the first time since 2006 — despite Friday's loss — and South Korea, which is through to the knockout stage on the goals scored tiebreaker, is the group's runner-up.

5': Goal!

Portugal set the tone early in this one, as Ricardo Horta nailed an early shot to put his team in front, 1-0, just minutes into the match.

17': What could have been

South Korea nearly knotted things up early in the first half as Jung Woo-Young tried a through ball, but defender Kim Jin-Su was caught offside.

42': No quit

Cristiano Ronaldo attempted a header late in the first half in an effort to give Portugal the lead, but it was no good. Just like that, things remained tied at the break.

90'+1': New leader!

Hwang Hee-Chan came up with a massive goal in stoppage time, putting South Korea up 2-1.
