Wilfried Zaha reportedly set switch international duties from England to Cote d'Ivoire

England winger Wilfried Zaha reportedly is set to make a switch of his international allegiance, opting instead to play for his birth nation of Cote d'Ivoire.

Zaha has made two senior appearances with the Three Lions, but he could still switch allegiances because both substitute caps came during friendlies. As it stands, Zaha has played just 20 minutes for England's senior side and hasn't factored into the equation since 2013.  The Crystal Palace winger has enjoyed a good spell thus far for his club team, but that hasn't translated into a call up to Gareth Southgate's side.

With five assists and a goal in 11 Premier League appearances, Zaha has settled into Alan Pardew's side quite nicely. He's snubbed Cote d'Ivoire twice before, but now it appears he's open to playing for the Elephants. While Cote d'Ivoire might rightfully feel like a clear-cut Plan B, the two parties should see it as a marriage of convenience if it were to happen. Zaha clearly wants to make his mark on the international stage, and the Elephants would be foolish to turn down another skillful attacking player.
