West Brom without Gera for 'foreseeable future'
West Bromwich Albion says Hungary captain Zoltan Gera will be out of action ''for the foreseeable future'' after injuring his knee during a Premier League game on Saturday.
The 32-year-old Gera had to be replaced in the 21st minute of West Brom's 3-1 home defeat against Tottenham and needs further tests to determine the extent of the injury.
West Brom manager Roy Hodgson says ''Zoltan has done really well since coming into the team three games ago ... this will be a major blow both on the training pitch and the match arena.''
Gera rejoined West Brom after being released by Fulham at the end of last season. He missed the start of this campaign because he was recovering from an ankle injury.
