We're still in tie - Dalglish
Alan scored the only goal of the game with a 17th-minute penalty after a clumsy foul by Sotirios Krygiakos. Dalglish told Channel Five: "In the first 35 mins we were terrible, although they never had a great deal of pressure. "To the boys' credit in the second half they picked themselves up a bit and increased the tempo to try to get the equaliser." The Scot claimed his side would still fancy their chances in the return leg at Anfield, although acknowledged they could not afford such a slow start. "At 1-0 you've got a chance," he added. "But the way we started off, if we play like that at Anfield we won't have any chance. "But there's only one in it. We go back to Anfield and see what happens there."
