Werder Bremen only charging €15 for home and away supporters sections tickets

Everyone in the standing sections at Werder Bremen matches will only have to pay €15 for their ticket this season. That includes the away fans too.

The club announced that they will make prices for the standing sections flat going forward. Before, prices would go up for big matches and down against lesser teams, but they thought it was important to have price certainty for fans as part of their attempts to keep matches affordable.

That Werder Bremen are applying that to away fans too is sensational because when clubs lower prices -- essentially subsidizing tickets -- they rarely apply that to the visiting fans. They'll leave that to the away club, who have the option to subsidizie their fans' tickets. But Werder are going with low prices across the board.

The Bundesliga is known as being the most fan friendly of all the major leagues. Unsurprisingly, they also have the best attendance of any league and some of the best atmospheres. That will continue at the Weserstadion next season, thanks to Werder Bremen's guarantee of low ticket prices in the hearts of the supporters sections.
