Wellington focused on Arsenal after Fluminese snub

Wellington Silva says he is being ignored by current club Fluminese because of his imminent move to Arsenal.

The 17-year-old Brazilian striker hasn't played for Fluminese since the beginning of the year and coach Muricy Ramalho said recently that the striker is not playing because ''his mind is already'' in England.

Wellington signed for the Gunners in 2009 and will complete the move when he turns 18 in January.

He told the Globoesporte website Thursday that Ramalho barely talks to him and that he has decided to ''focus totally'' on Arsenal. He is scheduled to practice with the London club in the coming weeks as part of the process to adjust to the club.
