Watch two teammates get red cards for fighting ... each other
When it comes to sports, there's good team chemistry. There's also bad team chemistry. And then there's Preston North End's team chemistry, which apparently is as stable as dropping a roll of Mentos into Diet Coke.
Preston North End teammates Jermaine Beckford and Eoin Doyle were both sent off in the closing minutes of a 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday, and the reason in absolutely ridiculous. The duo got into a scuffle, but not with their opponents. Nope, not with a ref or some unruly fan. Those scenarios, although disgraceful, are at least believable. Instead, Doyle and Beckford went at each other.
Here's what precipitated the kerfuffle, via BBC Sport:
The question is: Did they both go to the same locker room?
