Watch Sergio Ramos score to earn Real Madrid a draw in the 90th minute
The latest edition of El Clasico might have lacked the flair we're used to seeing in a Real Madrid vs. Barcelona clash, but it certainly didn't skimp when it came to late drama. With time winding down, it looked as though Luis Suarez's goal would be enough to earn Barcelona a cagey 1-0 victory.
But in the 90th minute, Sergio Ramos happened.
Of course it was Sergio Ramos. A late set piece and boom, all level. It looked as though Barcelona's Javier Mascherano was on the hook to cover Ramos but slipped, and all Ramos had to do from there was beat Marc-Andre ter Stegen. And Ramos did.
The ominous Spanish center back has an unparalleled knack for delivering critical late goals, so why wouldn't he come up huge late for Los Blancos again? In fact, the warning shot came just three minutes earlier as Ramos narrowly missed an equalizer on a header.
The split of points is a huge boon for Real Madrid, who maintained their six-point cushion against their rivals.
