Watch Naby Keita beat the entire Bremen defense as RB Leipzig win again

Don’t look now, but RB Leipzig are right on Bayern Munich’s heels in the Bundesliga.

The league debutants continued their flying start by defeating Werder Bremen 3-1 at home, remaining undefeated and jumping up to second place in the league, just two points behind Bayern. And Naby Keita, who spurned a move to several big clubs in the Premier League this summer in favor of the ambitious project in Leipzig, was the biggest reason why.

In the first half, Keita opened the scoring by literally running straight through the entire Bremen team.

The 21-year-old Guinea international later nicked in a header from close range in the second half for his brace, which proved to be the difference against Bremen.

Keita’s heroics are the latest episode in a truly historic campaign for RB Leipzig, who have put on the best start for a Bundesliga debutant in league history. And it’s not like they’ve only been beating up on bad teams like Bremen. Leipzig defeated Borussia Dortmund in their home opener, took out Wolfsburg on the road, and secured points against Gladbach, fifth-place Köln, and fellow undefeated side Hoffenheim.

Whether RB Leipzig can keep up their hot start is the big question, and actually challenging Bayern this season does still seem like too tall an order. But the excitement is building in East Germany, and even if the rest of the league hate the Red Bull-backed club, Leipzig won’t care so long as they keep winning.
