Watch: Mario Balotelli scores twice for Nice against Monaco
Mario Balotelli continued his career resurgence with Ligue 1 side Nice, scoring two goals in a 4-0 win against Monaco on Wednesday and helping lift his new club to first place through six games.
Balotelli, who also scored twice in his club debut against Marseille after leaving Liverpool during the summer transfer window, scored in the 30th and 68th minutes at Allianz Riviera, following Paul Baysse's opener.
He tallied his first with a strong individual effort, chesting down a long diagonal from Younes Belhanda on the right channel, taking it centrally and finishing by Danijel Subasic with a bounding right-footed effort.

With four league goals, Balotelli is well beyond his one-goal tally with Liverpool in 2014-15 and with AC Milan in 2015-16. His single-season career high is 14 goals, which he scored with AC Milan in 2013-14.
