Watch Luis Suarez score from an insanely tight angle against Colombia
Too many early-round World Cup qualifiers pit minnows against sharks, but when Uruguay went to Colombia, it was always going to be one of the best matches on the docket on Tuesday. The back-and-forth affair certainly didn't disappoint, in no small part to this stunning goal from Luis Suarez:
GOAAAL! @LuisSuarez9 with the tightest of angles, finds the net to give @Uruguay the lead #beINConmebol https://t.co/YX81a06rYr

Suarez had no business shooting from that tight of an angle, let alone scoring. But his placement was absolutely perfect, tucking just inside the far post to make an incredibly difficult shot look easy.
The best part may not even be the goal itself, as beautiful as it was. Ray Hudson, the color commentator for BeIN Sports, absolutely loses his mind when it goes in. First he just screams with sheer joy and disbelief. By the time he finishes his summary of what we just watched and says Suarez "sinks the dagger," he sounds like he is out of breath. To be fair, Hudson is just the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve when he's in the broadcast booth, but there's a little something extra on that Suarez strike.
Ultimately, Suarez's 73rd-minute goal was not a dagger as Fernando Mina came back 10 minutes later to equalize for Colombia and finish the game at 2-2. His header seems to defy gravity as it hangs in mid-air and loops over goalkeeper Fernando Muslera:
Incredible equalizer from Yerry Mina to bring @FCFSeleccionCol back level with @Uruguay #beINConmebol https://t.co/Yr5uhum21U

Another great goal in a great game, but Suarez's effort is surely the highlight. It was a stunning goal from one of the best players in the world, and it ensured Uruguay would leave Colombia with at least a point on the day.
