WATCH: Balotelli doused with champagne on his birthday

Mario Balotelli has hit a rough patch in his playing career, but at least he's still having some fun off the pitch.

The out-of-favor Liverpool striker posted an Instagram video of him getting doused in champagne on his 25th birthday this Wednesday. 

A couple of friends ambushed him with two big bottles of bubbly and chased him around the house, before presenting him with a neat little cake and a single candle on it – possibly standing for his one, single Premier League goal last season.
