US women's team announces training camp roster

CHICAGO (AP) Forward Alex Morgan and defender Crystal Dunn were not among the 24 players named to the training camp roster by the U.S. women's national team on Tuesday as the squad prepares to play China PR in two friendly matches.

Morgan and Dunn are still dealing with ankle injuries.

The team will face China PR on April 6 in Commerce City, Colo., and again four days later in San Diego. The U.S. is 30-8-12 all-time against China PR.

So far in 2014, the Americans are 4-2-1 and No. 1 in the latest FIFA women's world rankings. China is 19th.

Midfielder Lauren Holiday is back on the roster after missing the 2014 Algarve Cup in Portugal because of a family commitment.
