United linked with Kayal bid
The Hoops star reportedly caught the eye of United boss Sir Alex Ferguson during the Scottish Cup clash between Rangers and Celtic earlier this month. The 22-year-old, who joined the Hoops from Maccabi Haifa last summer, has stated that he is flattered by the interest but is only focusing on winning the SPL title and playing for Neil Lennon's men in the Champions League next season. The Jewish Times claims that a bid for Kayal, capped 17 times by Israel, will be 'launched' in the summer as Ferguson looks to stregethen his central midfield options. "Nobody will be surprised if Beram plays for a club of United's stature one day. But the most important thing for him at the moment is to win the SPL title," said agent Dudu Dahan.
