This gorgeous Darlington Nagbe goal will have USMNT fans salivating

Darlington Nagbe can sometimes frustrate American soccer fans. He’s great at distributing the ball, superb in transition and he’s effective in the final third when he shoots. The problem, according to some, is that he plays it safe and doesn’t shoot enough.

Fans will only be wanting Nagbe to shoot more after the gorgeous goal he scored on Saturday to give the Timbers an early lead over Vancouver. Take a look at this golazo:

What. A. Stunner. Nagbe doesn’t always do the goal-scoring himself, but when he does, he is capable of magic.

He followed it up with a lovely slip-pass that set up the Timbers' second goal of the day:

It’s an encouraging sign from the U.S. men’s national team prospect. He’s been more aggressive this season for Portland from the left wing spot, and fans will be hoping it translates to the USMNT.

Just last week, he was denied a similar golazo on an excellent Tim Melia save and we were left to only imagine how splendid that goal would’ve been:

But now, Nagbe finally got his wonder goal one week later and it might be the nicest goal in MLS this week.

Not a bad rebound for the Portland Timbers man.
