The stats from Christian Pulisic's last four games are amazing

Christian Pulisic got off to a bit of a slow start this season. His participation in Copa America meant he got a long summer break and it took him some time to get back into the Borussia Dortmund team. In fact, by the start of September, he hadn't played in a single match yet.

Then he got a call-up to play for the United States in World Cup qualifying and, well, let's see how his month of September has gone:

• He came off the bench to score two goals and add an assist against St. Vincent and the Grenadines
• He became the youngest player to ever start a World Cup qualifier for the U.S.
• He was one of the Americans' best players against Trinidad and Tobago and picked up an assist
• He became the youngest player to ever start a Champions League match for Borussia Dortmund
• He was one of Dortmund's best players and had an assist against Legia Warsaw
• He had a goal and two assists against Darmstadt

Maybe some of the opposition wasn't great, but even if you account for that, it's still damn impressive. Oh, and Pulisic's still 17 years old.

Pulisic may have gotten off to a slow start this season, but it's safe to say that September has been kind to him. And there's still eight months to go. The American is only getting started.
