Team is all that matters - Pell

Harry Pell is putting team success ahead of personal achievements as AFC Wimbledon look to avoid the drop.

Pell, 21, has scored twice in recent weeks to earn the Dons four crucial points, with his winner against York kick-starting a run of four wins in five games.

The player has made an immediate impression for the npower League Two side since making the step up from Hereford and is now hoping he can help steer his new club clear of relegation.

He told the Hounslow Chronicle: "It's not really about me at the moment, it's about the team.

"I don't care if I don't score for the rest of the season as long as we keep on winning. That's all that matters, staying up, and then we can build on that next season.

"I'm in it for the long haul. I've really settled in and it couldn't have gone any better."
