Szczesny and Djourou eye returns

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and defender Johan Djourou could both return for the Gunners' must-win clash with Liverpool this Sunday.

Szczesny dislocated his finger in the first leg of their Champions League clash with Barcelona and was expected to miss the rest of the season.

But the Polish youngster has had a 'positive scan' and is expected to replace veteran Jens Lehmann for the last seven games of the season.

Swiss centre-half Djourou should also return for a game that would cove Arsenal within four points of leaders Manchester United.

He dislocated his shoulder on March 12 and was expected to miss the rest of the season. But he does not require surgery and is back in full training. In his absence, Arsenal dropped four crucial points with draws against West Brom and Blackburn.
