Swansea signs another Spaniard in Pozuelo

Alejandro Pozuelo has increased the Spanish contingent at Swansea to seven by signing for the Premier League club after his release by Real Betis.

The attacking midfielder agreed to a three-year deal, becoming the third Spaniard to join in a week - after Jose Canas arrived from Betis and Jordi Amat from Espanyol.

Swansea, managed by Michael Laudrup, already has Michu, Pablo Hernandez, Angel Rangel and Chico Flores.

Pozuelo says Tuesday ''the style of the team suits me, and so too does the style of the manager. Of course, there are a lot of Spanish players here ... and that will help me to settle quickly.''

Laudrup spent seven years of his playing career in Spain with Barcelona and Real Madrid, and subsequently had coaching spells with Getafe and Mallorca.
