Swansea reportedly assure Bob Bradley he won't be fired, will fund January signings

Swansea City have assured Bob Bradley that his job is secure and they will back him to make signings in January, according to ESPNFC.

Bradley has won just two of 10 matches since taking over at Swansea and the Swans are in 19th place, three points from safety. He's faced opposition from the Swansea fans, who were not happy with the club when he was hired, have not been happy with the results and have begun criticizing him for using terms common in the U.S., but unusual in England and Wales. Lately, they've begun calling for his firing, but the club have maintained that he will not be sacked and will continue to back him.

Swansea desperately need to make some signings in January, especially in defense. They had a shaky defense a year ago and then sold Ashley Williams in the summer without buying a suitable replacement. As a result, they've been torn apart time and time again, be it under Bradley or former manager Francesco Guidolin.

Bradley has improved Swansea's home form, winning two and drawing one in four matches at the Liberty. Away form hasn't been quite as good, but some January signings could turn things around.

With matches against Bournemouth and West Ham coming up, Swansea have a chance to pick up points against two of the league's weaker teams. That will come before the transfer window so Bradley will have to do it with his current squad, but after that he can get to making the signings that the club have assured Bradley he'll get to make.
