Sunderland's Campbell to miss most of next season
Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell will miss the rest of this season and most of the next because of knee ligament surgery.
Sunderland says Campbell needs a second operation on the cruciate ligament damage he initially sustained on Aug. 29 against Manchester City.
The 23-year-old forward has not played since and twisted the same knee in training to end hope of returning this season.
Campbell has scored four goals in 34 Premier League appearances for Sunderland.
