Stoke held 2-2 at home by Wigan

Wigan moved out of the Premier League relegation zone after storming back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at Stoke on Tuesday.

Stoke, looking for its first victory in five league matches, took the lead in the 23rd minute when Ryan Shawcross capitalized on a defensive blunder to hook the ball home. Peter Crouch made it 2-0 in the 48th, following up Charlie Adam's parried shot to score his first goal since September.

However, James McArthur pulled a goal back for the visitors two minutes later, with January signing Roger Espinoza sliding in a through-ball which McArthur clipped into the net. Franco Di Santo then leveled with a 61st-minute volley.

It later required a great save from Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to deny McArthur a matchwinner.
