Stevanovic misses 'urgent' meeting with Ghana FA
The Ghana Football Association says Goran Stevanovic has missed an urgent meeting to determine his future as national team coach because of a passport problem.
The GFA says Stevanovic was held up in his native Serbia while he waited for a new passport, forcing them to reschedule Tuesday's meeting.
Stevanovic has been under pressure for his job after Ghana lost to eventual champion Zambia in the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations and then Mali in the third-place match.
The GFA has not hid the fact that Stevanovic's future in charge of the World Cup quarterfinalists is in doubt following a disappointing African Cup.
GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi says Stevanovic is now expected in Ghana on Thursday and will meet association officials on Friday.
