Serb striker Milan Jovanovic scored a goal and set up another Wednesday to lead Standard Liege to a 3-0 win over Sampdoria and into the next round of the UEFA Cup.

Standard Liege took the decisive step into next year's knockout round when forward Igor De Camargo headed home a Jovanovic pass in the 23rd minute.
